I pretty much have a concrete gable roof..so it has a steep slope...and few rainy seasons ago it developed heavy leaks....we were on a tight budget so we found a quick solution that has worked realy well over the years...which is to use a thin mixture of thinset ....(dnya 600) and pour it over the slab....worked like magic and cost less than 3k for 2 bags...and we did it ourselves.

If you have leakage , then that means there is air packets in the concrete. vibrate you concrete properly and avoid joining, in order word try an make one cast

@Basco:most mason will tell you they are going to raise one side of the backup board and drop one side, that mostly never work. so I tried a method that works every time I use it, and please remember, there is nothing that can rebond to that concrete once dry, so no matter what you try, without the slope, your are going to get wet.
