@shehide.ah: i wonder how different our communities would be if we were as curious about knowledge as we‘re about each other’s way of living #muslim #fyp
I’m YEARNING to meet people who sincerely seek knowledge of Islam and regularly reflect on its teachings

your videos are always so beautiful to watch, masha'Allah. just a tiny reminder out of love, try switching to vocal-only nasheeds instead of audios that contain instruments. it would bring so much more barakah to your page and your hard work. may Allah bless you, you got this💙 (maybe re edit an post with a vocal nasheed, since for every person that listens you also get sin)

We started failing as a people the moment we started to chase the west. Allamah iqbal famously said “the east has lost itself in chasing the west”. When we as Muslims practiced islam as it was for centuries we prospered but in the last 300ish years we have been chasing westernism and have been trying to “fit it” with western standards and by doing this we have made ourselves look like fools. We should embrace our own religion and culture rather than trying to emulate Christians and liberals.

THANK YOU it’s like we lost the true essence of Islam nowadays. It’s always about getting married at 18 or somn instead of learning about the world. The Islamic golden age revolutionized knowledge. It held onto books from forgotten empires and even translated them- not bc they were Islamic but bc they were knowledge. That same knowledge was used for the European renaissance. Everything from medicine to space - were asked fundementally to question the things around us and it seems we move further away from that

i think about this daily. In the golden age they used to value knowledge so much in the society that everybody was expected to be educated, knowledge was used to prove God and as a way of worship Him, now all they want is praying, gender roles, haram, and further questions and debates are not allowed or you are distancing away from religion, even when god says in the Quran multiple times "read", "think", "observe".

It was the same poison that destroyed Christendom too. The wahabis are our version of the Protestants. Both groups removed the spiritual element of their respective religions and turned their religions into a bunch of rules
