@meghannmcuniff: Attorney Brian Panish told jurors this morning that they've "already spoken the truth" with their $176 million verdict for compensatory damages against Scott Erickson and Rebecca Grossman. "Now we're in the most important part of the trial, and this is the part that rarely happens," he said of the possible punitive damages jurors are now considering for the Sept. 29, 2020, crash that killed young brothers Mark and Jacob Iskander. Panish said Grossman, Erickson and Peter Grossman understand "one thing, and it's really the answer to every question in the world, and you know what that answer is?" "Money, because that's all they care about in their own world. Self entitled, above the law, commit perjury. Lie, lie, lie," Panish said. "They don't get it. They'll never get it, and you're the only ones that can make them get it. You're the only ones, you 12 sitting here today in America. You can make an example of these people, and you can punish them, and you can deter others of similar conduct," Panish said.
