FAKE. Every city has amazing places to explore on foot, but food and transportation are very expensive in Istanbul. A metro ticket costs around €1 per ride, and street food (e.g., one chicken wrap without a drink) costs around €5, the famous Basilica Cistern €45, etc

Instanbul is an expensive place to visit but still beautiful. More expensive than last year I visited it

I am resident here 😅 Although places are free, Cannot see inside without paying. Resident also considered as Tourist here sadly unlike other countries. Past 2 years, cant even afford to see Touristy spots like palaces and Basilica… 😁 Istanbul is not cheap at all… Restaurants, Cafes and regular social gatherings here are considered luxury- Not everybody can afford the lifestyle! Visiting yes- I always recommend ppl to visit. 🙌 my 2cents
