quick reminder to all that high fever can cause memory loss too! one time my mum got an UTI (she gets them a lot, chronic kidney stuff) and in the span of ten minutes went from completely normal to forgetting almost every aspect of her life in one go. she didn't recognise her long term boyfriend or my brother and would only let me near her. she also looked me dead in the face and told me that she was in pain and it was all my fault. after recovering in the hospital, she didn't remember any of it. so yeah, remember to take UTIs (and all other infections/fevers) SUPER seriously!!

My current memories problems are terrifying and make me scared for things like Altzimers (?) and Dementia.
