I’ve been a black student in an all white high school the school that I went to had 2500 students out of all of them only 50 to 60 were black Asian and Latino. I have personally seen how white athletes and black athletes in can interact with one another. In some schoolswhen you are a black athlete or a black male student in all white high school. Your validation is always tested so when he walked into that tent, best believe those twins verbally attacked him. What was the point of them even coming over there and questioning why he was in the tent. They’re not security. They’re not responsible for who’s allowed in and out of there it was raining outside. Austin provoked his death now does it justify him stabbing him absolutely not but let’s not act like these two white male students were innocent. I believe they were messing with that boy and telling him that he didn’t belong and he needed to leave and probably even got a physical with him. And the fact that he showed up with a knife, lets you know that possibly he felt unsafe that he had other encounters like this before, but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s not allowed to participate in school activities. It’s just like how people walk around with a gun on their hip, but it doesn’t mean that they’re premeditated to use it. so you have a white group of kids trying to maintain their dominate lineage and then you have a black student who’s trying to prove that he’s not his ancestors. It’s pride on both sides. From my experience, I only seen turn into a physical fight, which resulted in school suspension. But I guarantee you one thing everybody in this situation on both sides learn something. That you can’t bully and push people around and think that they’re gonna take your abuse someone was pushed to cause harm and then the attacker sees now that his pride is not worth losing his freedom he should have have to courage to walk away. Both sides lost! Oh, and before y’all try to say I’m racist. My dad is half white. His mom was a blonde hair, blue eyed white woman. And my white great great grandfather had 13 children with my black GG grandma in 1908 Mississippi
