Also, tigers eye is supposed to help bring courage, one thing I noticed is that he decided not to follow through with his “self-sacrifice” after he took the stone out of his pocket and put it on the counter. I think it symbolized him not truly having enough willpower to follow through with hard decisions (similar to the beginning of the movie when he didn’t have enough courage to admit his feelings)

When Nikki was talking about her book she was writing, she said she was writing a love story. Bear asked “so it’s a romance?” Nikki said “No. It’s a love story.” This here already indicates how drastically different their thought processes are about love. Bear thinks love is all you need, and Nikki is aware there’s more to it than that, especially with her issues with her father most likely teaching her that lesson. Shows how naive Bear really was and how much he really didn’t understand Nikki at all and how surface level his love for her was. It’s even proven when he starts yelling at her and saying he wants her to “act like Nikki” because he’s getting mad that her love for him alone was in fact not enough and he actually did need that depth and her to be herself
