The point of this isn’t entirely that it’s feeding them faulty information, it’s also reflective of the fact that humanity has become so dependent on ai that once it tells us something, we often don’t doubt it, research other sources, or actively try to find information disproving it, we just take it and move on.

why don't people understand this. Ai will answer you with average data they have. meaning if Ai exists back then when most data are wrong, they would give the wrong answer like other books back then have said. this comic shows that if those thinkers blindly trust Ai like we do today, they wouldn't have invented anything, meaning we should use our thinking like those thinkers who trust themselves instead of other people words.

I love this comic so much. Especially the detail of the AI just responding how it thinks it should respond. AI isnt smart, it just goes off of what ppl tell it.

guys.. what so hard to understand. this isn't about those people in the past. this is about what if we had stripped creativity and critical thinking of our FUTURE deep thinkers just because we rely too much on ai. it's not just about feeding the ai accurate data, the problem relies on data that HAVEN'T EXIST YET. deep thinkers are always there in every generation to give opinion and feedback about things that isn't a mainstream knowledge, and make it mainstream.

the reason why so many people feel compelled to belive AI and why it's dangerous is that AI talks like a confident human even if they don't have any information, and we are naturally more inclined to belive someone who is sure of what they say. a book doesn't have that effect cause it's not actively talking to you or pretending to be something it's not

I think a lot of people might misunderstand this. I see this video as "AI can't make breakthrough and new idea because it appeals to majority opinion no matter right or wrong" for progress you need to pivot from current and this is what AI is not capable of. This video is not critique of just using AI it's critique of people praising it as independent mind
