I don’t think it was a matter of the dealership not knowing I think they were just profiting off you not knowing there was a second battery and you would just keep wasting money

i changed the trans oil, inside filter, and valve body on a 2014 Nissan máxima s/s and now the car won't go into any gear. it reaches 2,000rpm and then it exhales, but the car doesn't move. is there any saving it or do I need a new transmission

What car are we talking about? Every BMW I’ve ever seen only has one battery, and the main one is in the trunk. There are some rare models where they have two batteries but they’re both in the trunk. What model has their main battery under the hood?

Let’s also point out the the BMS system must be reset or it will nuke the new battery thinking it’s still the old one

also a lot of the euro cars need a "relearn", procedure for the charging system on the new battery... especially if its push button start

Anything after a 2020 might even have three and the new ones in the front are either a 48v or 12v, they are over $1,000 each. Most also take an AGM battery (H7 battery) and those sometimes run about $300

Main battery on most bmw is in the trunk. Mercedes differs and honestly all cars differ where the aux battery lives. Ask where the jeep wrangler aux battery lives

I’m currently trying to get another car with two batteries working. Both are in the trunk. It’s a 2014 Chevy caprice only ever sold in the states as a cop car.

he just went in and said I need a new battery every time no diag or anything else just give me a battery and that's it
