As someone who has been in a similar situation, I send hugs to anyone going through it right now. What hurt me wasn’t the cheating itself, it was the entire process of feeling foolish when my instincts were right all along. It was the vulnerability, the fear of leaving, and the worry that the world would somehow see me as the problem. Grieving someone who is still alive is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I don’t think I’ll ever do marriage the traditional way. I’ll stick to intentional relationships. My fears are real, my foot is on the brake, and my guards are up now. I’ve experienced enough betrayal to know that protecting my peace isn’t a weakness it’s a necessity.

people always say heal, and move on .. let him be u weren't meant to be together ... but no one understands the pain, the betrayal, the lies , the embarrassment.. u lose your self, your self esteem , your confidence, your wasted prior young years... aman wasted your 5 years , marrys s1 else and every1/ expects to get up and move on like nthg happened

I had to move bedrooms,I couldn't sleep with him next to me... so I also prayed for him to get trips(wether true or not) I wanted him out of my space, thankfully he got a job that required him to travel...that is how I have healed & closed off certain things...
