Tbr I had a 2 yr gap in mine and had it questioned but then 10 secs later it didn’t matter. It’s all about your interview skills!

The family thing was real. Good to spend time with my dad before he passed. Gave me good life, interview and career advice during the gap after the layoff. 3 months into a new role and relocation he suddenly passed.
