As an American who lives in Rabat, Morocco, I am highly disappointed with this action. The Moroccan people are wonderful and nice people. As someone else mentioned, Morocco was the first country to recognize an independent United States and they have been with us ever since! I really hope this can be rectified and these wonderful people can attend Morocco matches!! I personally will be rooting for Morocco! 🇲🇦

As a Moroccan, the World Cup and football are HUGE here, especially with our team's performance at the last World Cup. However, no one I personally know is planning to go watch it this time in the US. Most were scared off by the news (even my friends with US tourist visas aren't going lol)
