The whole "no one actually makes minimum wage" drives me nuts. I work for a state government and have wage information as a part of my job. People are absolutely making minimum wage, and more than you think.

Just went and checked Walmart for the price for 1lb of beef, 1 package of spaghetti noodles, and one jar of spaghetti sauce (great value brand for sauce and noodles) and it still totals out to $10.95.

Right around the point. fine- Walmart because it's in every state in the US and statistically cheap. here in Iowa a pound of ground beef is $5.99lb for the 70/30, noodles $1.97 and a jar of sauce is $1.99. that's still over minimum wage. we shouldn't be trying to figure out how to make a cheap meal cheaper. we SHOULD be able to make SPAGHETTI for an hour of work

I was shocked to find the cheapest noodles at the store were $2.50 and cheapest sauce was $4.50 I swear not too long ago noodles were like $1 and sauce was like $2.50
