for me its only when I eat fried foods, dairy or really oily things. I would rather change my diet than have those stones and the pain that comes with the stones.

100% I tell people this all the time! I’m 2 years Post OP and I still have dumping syndrome too, but it’s worth it!

OX BILE!!! I will scream it from the roof tops, it will help so much to take it before every meal! I use the now foods supplement super enzymes. I can eat anything now

29 years later I still have to be close to the bathroom. It sucks but gallstones are way worse

I’m getting mines out next month and was worried about this, but I have been reassured by my doctor this is not that common and if so, there are plenty remedies…but I’m with you, the surgery seems to be worth it.. gallbladder pain is the worse pain I have ever felt.

I’ve been living with dumping syndrome for over a decade. It’s manageable. When we go out to eat we stay within a couple miles from our house. I know it can seem frustrating sometimes, but it’s better than the pain my gallstones were causing.At one point I thought I was having a heart attack and I could hardly breathe due to the pain radiating through my body.

Yep exactly why I don’t eat or drink before I travel. Or at least very minimal drinking.

It’s been 24 years for me and I still have to eat at home and have a date with the restroom shortly after. Gallstones hurt you’re absolutely correct

I had mine out in 2007 and I never had nothing syndrome. In fact I'm more constipated.

I also experienced dumping syndrome after getting my gallbladder removed and was eventually diagnosed with bile acid diarrhea and prescribed cholestyramine which helped immensely. now I can eat like a regular person again after years of being afraid to eat.
