You don't really get access to 50-150k. You get access to the drawdown amount which is like 2k-4,5k

Prop firms are designed to lose. Teach how to grow small accounts. That’s more beneficial.

Reality is that the $100 is buying the total dd amount not the account size value.

Never done prop firms, its just feels like a job😁 went from 200£ to 7k£ in 2 weeks on live account. Never understood whats the point of prop firms, if ur strategy works u can flip few hundreds in to thousands in one trade…

Agree with prop firms is a great way to rotate ur profits into more live accounts ofc. Personally I prefer live accounts also ez to flip with proper RR. For new players it really depends on their psychology in the end of the day and following their strategy that works.

Why not do both? Have a live and funded and any payouts from funded go into the live.

But with prop firms, the advertised amount isn’t really the capital. Your drawdown limit is. So really ur paying like $100 for access to 2k. Not worth it.

Do you have any personal account platforms to recommend?

The part most people skip is that a prop account changes your psychology more than your buying power. The same setup feels completely different when it is an eval you can fail versus your own cash on the line. The discipline that passes the eval is the same discipline that grows a small account, so building that habit on a small live account first tends to make the funded stage way easier.
