I can actually relate to this. I dated a guy I was deeply in love with, but there were several hygiene-related issues that honestly turned me off over time. He rarely washed his hair with shampoo or his body with body wash because, as a doctor, he believed those products weren’t good for the skin. He also didn’t wear deodorant, especially during summer, which became a real issue. Another thing I only realized after watching this video was the beard hygiene. He often used castor oil on his beard, but didn’t seem to clean it properly, so it had a very strong smell. At the time I was on acne treatment and kept getting small breakouts around my face. Looking back, I think there’s a good chance it was related to poor beard hygiene and the oils transferring to my skin. It’s interesting how being in love can make you overlook things that would otherwise be major turn-offs.
