@aeriscarter: Resident Evil characters are constantly engaged in fatherless behavior. lol 🙅🏻‍♀️ I think Albert Wesker wins the competition for the worst daddy issues of any character in Resident Evil: Code Veronica because he lived his entire life being his adoptive father, Oswell Spencer’s, puppet 🎮 and then, when finally liberated from the corporation that raised him, ⛱️ his anxiety disorder immediately compelled him to seek out his adoptive father and ultimately adopt his life goals as his own, 🦽oedipally ending and replacing Oswell at the Spencer Estate in Resident Evil 5’s Lost in Nightmares. Steve Burnside’s daddy issues come from his father’s involvement with Umbrella, which ultimately led to his family’s imprisonment on Rockfort Island. 🏝️ Steve ends up having to take his zombified father 🧟 down when he attacks Claire in Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
