Context: Entitled noisy neighbours want to enter her house to look see for fun. Owner is preventing this auntie from entering. Anw this happened to me before too, some random auntie suddenly just walked into my house while it was renovating. Luckily I was inside discussing things with contractor. Mind you there were concrete everywhere & these weird strangers still wanna come in. They seem to think a renovating house is public space

As a property agent, I always tell my clients. Especially for HDB, no matter how good is your unit, it’s still game over if you have nasty neighbours. 💯

During reno, I dropped by & cldn't find my contractor who's supposed to be painting. Found out my neighbour went IN my hse , look see then ask my contractor to check HIS hse for painting works !! Mind you we have a deadline & he took that time away to chat with my contractor. I told my neighbour off & ask my contractor to continue with his job back at my unit.

Last time when I was renovating this auntie came into my house with her BIG dog without asking no for permission first !! She knew we are a Muslim family! Got it from me and can still tell me the dog won’t run around!

this is so common in Singapore, it’s ridiculous. people just don’t understand boundaries and privacy. the concept of that is scarce with the older generation. you don’t own the place, if the owner doesn’t want you to enter, you should respect that, simple as that.

happened to me too. call her friend also and try to come into my unit AFTER renovation. i body blocked her whilst maintaining my composure and still smile at them but they stare up and down like i owe them money. After moving in, they avoided me at all cost. I don’t get the entitlement of these people? at the very least, build a relationship first lah. this one stranger level leh then attempt to trespass like they own the place

It's a strange symptom of a badly brought up generation who don't understand, much less respect, personal and private space. Same thing in crowded spaces. Personal bubble? Forget it. In this case however, it is litigatable trespass.

It is illegal to transpass another house. You can call the police to handle unreasonable people .

Sorry, I watched all of your renovation videos. but this video is totally out of context. You might be going through alot of trouble because of your renovation but you posting things online taking it out of context is not very nice. Mine was during HIP. 😭 Neighbours were literally walking in and out of my fully furnished home like it was nobody's business, then had the audacity to look startled when I snapped, "What are you all doing here?"

During renovation, my neighbours came to ask the contractors to ‘drop by their place’ to fix their lights for free, and said - it’s paid for already anyways.. 🤦🏻♀️

This happened to me too when I came to check on my previous flat in 2009, while its being reno- workers were out for lunch, and I got a shock when I saw a short bald uncle stretching at my balcony! And its the sense of entitlement! He immediately started to question what we did for a living, how come such a young, minority(Indian) cpl (we were late 30s) can buy a maisonette👀
