So basically Berserk of Gluttony is about a dude named Fate Graphite who was born with a skill called Gluttony. Everybody thinks it’s useless, so he’s treated badly and works a low paying job. One day he kills a thief and discovers that Gluttony lets him steal the strength, skills, and stats of anyone he kills. He starts getting crazy strong but has to keep feeding his power with souls or he’ll lose control. Along the way he gets a talking sword named Greed, protects the kind knight Roxy Hart, and fights monsters and corrupt nobles. He later meets Myne, who has another powerful Sin Skill and helps him understand his abilities. By the end of the season, Fate becomes one of the strongest fighters around, defeats a powerful dragon, nearly goes insane from all the power he absorbs, but manages to stay in control. He then leaves on a journey to learn more about his cursed power and get stronger so he can protect the people he cares about. Basically, it’s a fantasy anime about a weak guy who becomes overpowered but has to fight against a dangerous hunger that could turn him into a monster.
