Honestly you can change your sexuality. It’s not only environmental or biological. I have friends who went through different chapters in their lives who grew up as a lesbian, came out as bi and now is full straight with a husband. It happens, you meet different people of all sorts and you can’t choose who you eventually fall in love with. Weather that be female, male etc., I feel like educating your mother is a good way to let her know more about you and what makes you happy. Most Muslims wouldn’t let you get a sentence out hearing this news so even if some judge I feel like she is trying to understand you even if it hurts her. You’re her child and she’ll love you no matter what.
