@isoscoring203: This is one of the easiest and most effective ways to get downhill in isolation because it forces the defender to react before you even fully attack. De'Aaron Fox had the isolation versus the defender on the left wing and started by staying low to the ground and doing a quick right-to-left between-the-legs dribble that flowed right into an in-and-out dribble, which shook the defender. Then he did a high pickup over the help defender's reaching hand from the corner and finished at the rim with a left-handed layup. The reason this in-and-out was so effective is that Fox does a great job of selling the drive with his entire body. As he came out of the between-the-legs dribble, he planted that right foot hard into the floor and dropped his shoulders toward the basket, making it look like he was exploding in that direction. That hard plant and shoulder lean forced the defender to shift his weight and react to the fake. #NBA #deaaronfox #basketballtraining #explore #basketball 🎥: @swipathefox / Youtube: NBA
