I think this is a reason we're told to confess our sins or told to give it to God. We're not meant to hold onto shame & guilt - but it's definitely not easy and when you do, it pops up every now & then.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo true! Shame is dangerous to hang on to!! It destroys relationships. I did this for a long time until I chose to deal with the pain instead and regulate regularly!

The biggest step on my self-awareness journey was when I started to accept and forgive myself. Unlimited forgiveness and love to ourselfs is hard at first, but the child inside you is not against you, just trying to get your attention to finally release the pain. 💛 For me NLP wat the game changer
