I was thrown into early retirement due to a health health issues and not being able to work. I became a widow at age 49 and in the past 2 years been on a huge learning curve as the love of my life engineering husband took care of all of our finances. learning about structured retirement in the last two years was eye opening and Thanks to my husband’s great understanding of financial retirement. He left me in a good position so I will never have to work stress about $$$. The only thing I wish we would’ve done sooner is for me to apply for Disability to add a layer of protection.
