It is hard though. I just wish one of my kids books, which I am intensely proud of, would just gain some traction. I am not going to give up ever but it is hard.

It’s truly luck meets preparation. I’m 100% in agreement as a fellow entrepreneur that you have done all that work. Then we make sure to be ready when the opportunity presents itself. Perfecting skills and working hard for years on end. Not everyone gets the luck part though. Some get it way early some get it way late…I’ll assume some never do based on a variety of circumstances. I always wonder if I’ll get my “moment” like this (12 hour days/a decade of hard work only to lose it all due to husbands stroke and starting over). Not a sob story. Getting that belief back is work. Not everyone gets this kind of success even when they do everything right. But it’s possible and we have to believe we can be “the 1” or the strike can never hit. I believe anyway!

This is so similar to my story, I’m about 6 months behind you, I had a son too—came back to work, poured myself into it to be terminated in January. I was already career confused, this just expedited it. The only reason I didn’t join the yap challenge is purely because of my current financial situation but I’ve been admiring your journey and appreciate you sharing your process. I’m sure it feels weird to be an inspiration but you are and your content is lived experience, it shows. 🤍

I definitely had some envy when I heard about it, but it encouraged me, not discouraged me. I'm going to keep trying till I figure out what works. So many of us want a slice of the making online money pie. but I'm so happy for you. 1.2 million dollars would be life changing.
