I was worried about the same thing. I’m an only child so I have no reference on how to love more than one. But WOW our second lit up my world that much more! You will be just as obsessed. We have a 3 year age gap which helped with our first understanding the baby’s needs

No literally mine is 15m now and wdym I have to share my time with her😭😭 it breaks my heart thinking of having to tell her to wait while I care for another. If we had another I think I’d have a bigger age gap so she’d be more independent and understanding vs being a baby/toddler and just thinking im being mean😭

I unexpectedly got pregnant 5 months postpartum and was scared my entire pregnancy about this. I struggled the first couple days after my second was born to be very honest but then it all just clicked and I’m just as obsessed. It is just as they say - your heart grows !

I loved having a second baby 😭 We were so obsessed with our first son too he was 2 when our second son was born. It is hard not having alone time, I cried so much because I felt bad that I wasn't able to give 100% of myself to the both of them. But!!!!!!! I LOVED it being my second round of having a baby, I knew what I was doing. I had way less anxiety which made me actually enjoy having a newborn. When I think back to my first as a newborn I think of how tired and anxious and clueless I was but when I think of my second I think of how much I LOVED having a tiny little newborn baby!!!! It was fun!! Things are just different. I dreaded night time with my first newborn baby but looked forward to nighttime with my second because it was just us ❤️them being different ages and having such different personalities makes it not hard at all to still be SO obsessed with both ❤️

I’m 3.5 months with my second and I’m still feeling that way 😅😭 I know I’m going to love him so much but I’m so focused on spending these last precious months with my baby girl 😭🥲

I am pregnant with my third and I am having these questions, I came from three (and middle child/oldest daughter) and so I know it’s possible. But all I know is your heart expands. Like when my second was born, it’s like my heart grew somehow. And I assume the third will be the same. It all felt right and normal, it’s bizarre how when I held my second it felt like she fit in to my life and heart. Also love seeing my two girls play with each other, and now they will be 3 sisters. Always wanted that growing up. 🥹

As a young mom of 4, please know, you will never understand the amount of love your heart can hold for your babies. It’s actually impossible to explain. Every single one of them is so special in their own way. I literally want to scream and punch myself in the head because I love them sm I can’t even handle it 🤣
