@sacramentourbanmedia916: A Florida pastor has been arrested after investigators accused her of subjecting five children in her care to severe neglect while allegedly giving preferential treatment to her biological daughter. Gwendolyn Rolle, 59, of Fort Pierce, faces five felony child neglect charges following an investigation launched by local authorities after an anonymous tip raised concerns about the children’s living conditions. According to police, the five siblings, ages 4 to 9, were allegedly forced to use a bucket as a bathroom because they were often denied access to the home’s only functioning restroom. Investigators say the children reported being required to bathe outdoors using a garden hose while taking turns holding a sheet for privacy. Authorities allege the children frequently went hungry, surviving on ramen noodles, leftovers from school meals, or sometimes no dinner at all. Meanwhile, Rolle’s biological daughter allegedly received better meals, including fast food from restaurants such as KFC and Popeyes, and was allowed regular access to the home’s bathroom facilities. The investigation also revealed reports that the children were mocked at school because of body odor and unwashed clothing. School staff and community members reportedly noticed signs of neglect, with one witness claiming the children often lacked basic hygiene and necessities. Rolle, who serves as a pastor at a local church, told investigators she took the children in after they were abandoned by their father and denied mistreating them. However, police say multiple witness statements and interviews with the children painted a different picture. In addition to the neglect allegations, the children accused Rolle of using physical punishment and verbally degrading them. The case remains under investigation.#fyp #viral
