I am also a Euro fan. However, I lose complete respect for any Torontonians that buys and supports this. From a personal note, the way that FIFA has treated the local communities is outrageous. In reality, choosing to go means that your supporting a group that has basically treated many members of our society as a nuisance (telling the disabled community that they don’t follow Canadian Accessibility laws, basic human rights.). The cost is only one of the problems (not nearly the biggest). Even some of the major sponsors have been pulling back. I hope when your at the game you think about the small children who are disabled that are being fundamentally excluded from not only attending the game but also not abled to get wheel trans. Or the seniors in Liberty Village that rely on car share but they have been told that a group of “die hard supporters” takes priority and the vehicles will not be allowed to pick up.

We got our son tickets for his bday to see Spain with some of his favorite players, it’s an amazing experience and I don’t regret one penny of the cost

I don’t care about football at all but in general so many ppl say sht like that whenever you say anything about anything that costs money. Like at my old job whenever I mentioned a trip I did like to Ireland or Vietnam or whatever my coworker would always be like “I don’t understand how you guys can afford travelling sm” and bring down my mood and make me feel guilty 😭😭 like let me spend my money how I want!!

I’ve been waiting since they announced the bid! My city! A host city! My apt is walking distance from the stadium. I’ve STAYED IN THIS RENTAL FOR THIS REASON! No ones gonna yuck my yum. I only wish Bosnia qualified before I bought tickets to Croatia’s game hahah. But it’s a game none the less !
