Average teacher in NC makes 59k per year. They get every weekend, holiday, spring, fall, and winter breaks, and they only work 9.5 months out of the year. And teacher benefits are absolutely insane in NC. If they worked 12 months that equates to 75k per year which is great money. You won’t get rich being a teacher but there’s a good life to be lived on a teacher salary.
