If they serve no purpose and are causing damage, they should be removed. If someone is trying to get out of the flow of traffic If they are having mechanical issues or a possible medical issues, it doesn't need to be there.

They are sign break away bases with signs missing. Other distracted drivers hit them. Solid white line indicates not to drive there & stay in your lane. Stay off the phone & focus on driving. Hands free GPS is the law.
