@roger.castagnoli: The Curse of Triton | The Chronicles of Claudius | Apollo remained silent for a few moments, as if reliving the memory was painful. “That first night was wonderful… and terrifying at the same time.” Claudio listened carefully. “I swam for hours. I felt the sea as an extension of my own body. I could move through the currents effortlessly, cut through the waves at an impossible speed. For a moment, I believed the stories about Alexander the Great were true and that the relic had been created for men destined for greatness.” Apollo lowered his gaze. “But I was wrong.” The old man took a deep breath before continuing. “When I returned to the beach before dawn, one of my companions had followed me. His name was Marcus. He had seen me steal the relic from the camp and wanted to recover it before the centurion discovered what had happened.” Claudio frowned. “He attacked you?” “Yes.” Apollo nodded. “When he saw me transformed, he was horrified. He believed I was some sea monster or a curse sent by the gods. He drew his gladius and ordered me to step away from the relic.” The priest closed his eyes. “I tried to explain who I was. I tried to tell him I was still Apollo. But the tail… the tail did not want to be surrendered.” Silence filled the temple. “Marcus charged at me. I barely understood how to move in that new body. We fought along the shoreline as the waves crashed around us. I tried to defend myself without harming him, but every time I felt fear or anger, the power of the tail responded on its own.” Apollo tightened his grip on his staff as the memory returned to him. “And then it happened…” #merman #storytelling #mermaid #foryou 1 #triton 🔱🔱🔱🏛️🏛️🏛️🏺🏺🏺🧜🏻♂️🧜🏻♂️🧜🏻♂️🧜🏻♂️🌖🌖🌖🌖
