@ashtynkennedyforal: This morning myself and hundreds of others attended the Birmingham City Council Meeting on a proposed Data Center Ordinance. Citizens have been calling for the ordinance to be stronger (including a noise level limit, independent study requirement, and decommissioning bonds). None of their asks were heard. and the ordinance -after over 2 hours of public comments- was passed without amendments.
