Unfortunately it’s a 3G offense due to dangerous/violent circumstances, so there is no getting out early for good behavior. He legally has to serve at least 1/2 of the sentence before parole is an option. So that’s 17.5 years and he will be almost 37 when he comes up for parole. It’s really heartbreaking all the way around.
