use glass cleaner or isopropyl alchohol to clean the glass good with paper towels to clean the glass, and press the suction cup hard. I have the same-ish mount and it's been on for multiple years in the same spot after I did it that way

I bought the APPS2 Car Tablet mount. Works perfect for a phone. I installed it in 2023 and it’s still intact!!
