unpopular opinion but I feel like buying from shein isn't that bad if you know you'll wear the thing for a long time and actually use it and don't just buy unnecessary things because they're cheap. it's really hard to avoid this, especially since there is a lot of big companies that use the same methods. and if you live in a small town, the thrift stores don't have much to offer. If you buy one thing once a year, I don't think that's bad.

no matter what ,unless youre very privileged,you can't avoid 100% fast fashion. "just thrift" not everyone has thrift stores with clothes to actually buy. "vinted" is full of resellers,you barely find something good anymore and the transportation costs sometimes way more than the product. im not saying you should buy shein or temu,it really isnt okay to buy. but also sometimes you really have no other choice,you can avoid fast fashion forever, everything these days is fast fashion. its important that people are trying

i dont have thrift shops near me, 2nd hand online shops also have fast fashion clothes and i dont have the materials and the creativity to bleach or whatever, i dont support any form of labor explotation, ill buy in shein, also i dont abuse of it i maximum spend 40€ in a shein order and my last order was 2 years ago so..
