HOMEMADE CORN DOGS INGREDIENTS 1c cornmeal 1c flour 2 Tbsp sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 2 Tbsp oil 1c buttermilk (plus more if too thick) 1 egg 2 Tbsp honey 10 hot dogs Frying Oil Popsicle sticks INSTRUCTIONS In a medium bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix in oil, buttermilk, egg, and honey. Let rest for 10 minutes. In a large pot, heat frying oil of your choice to 350 degrees. Add hot dogs to popsicle sticks. Stir the batter and check for consistency. It should be thick enough to stick to the hot dog but thin enough to drip slightly. If it’s too thick at 1 Tbsp buttermilk at a time. Pour batter into a tall glass. Dip hot dog in the batter until it is completely coated. Allow excess to drip off. Gently drop the corn dog into the hot frying oil. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until deep golden brown. Use a tongs to remove the corn dog onto a baking sheet topped with a cooling rack. #homemadefood #CookingHacks

Hot Honey Barbecue Wings 🍗🍯🔥 Ingredients Chicken Marinade • Chicken wings, patted dry • 1 tsp garlic powder • 1 tsp ginger powder • 1 tbsp paprika • 1 tsp white pepper • Drizzle of browning sauce • 2 tbsp cornstarch • 1 tbsp oil Honey Barbecue Sauce • 4 tbsp butter • Sweet barbecue sauce (Kinder’s or your preferred brand) • 2 tbsp honey • 1 tbsp chili flakes • 1 tbsp parsley • 1 tbsp ketchup Finish • Green onions, chopped • Fresh parsley for garnish Instructions Pat chicken wings dry. In a bowl, combine garlic powder, ginger powder, paprika, white pepper, browning sauce, cornstarch, and oil. Toss wings in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. In a separate pan, melt 4 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add barbecue sauce, honey, chili flakes, parsley, and ketchup — stir until combined and let simmer for a few minutes. Air fry the marinated wings at around 375 °F (18-25mins) until golden and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C). Toss the fried wings in the honey barbecue sauce until fully coated. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and chopped green onions. 🔥
