@dzigbordikwakudosoo: This year I did something I had never consciously done before. I prayed for feedback.   I did not ask for praise, compliments, encouragement, motivation or reassurance. I simply wanted honest, specific feedback about my growth edges. The sort of feedback that most people never ask for because they are afraid of what they might hear.   And when the feedback came, from a team member who genuinely cared about this work, it was one of the most valuable gifts I have received as a leader.   What it revealed surprised me.   The feedback was not about my competence, my vision, ideas, principles or my strategy. It was about something subtler. Something I had not even noticed I was doing.   I had evolved significantly as a leader. I came through a difficult season and emerged more direct, more strategically focused, more clear about standards and outcomes.   But, as I was stepping into this new version of myself, I was still carrying pieces of the old version. Not the good pieces like the values, the warmth, the depth and the expertise I had.   It was the crumbs. Old habits of indirectness. Communication patterns that belonged to who I was before. Ways of showing up that no longer matched the leader I had become.   And because the new version and the old crumbs were arriving in the same room, what people experienced was not the strong, clear leader I had worked so hard to become. What they experienced was someone who felt unclear.   Unclear is one of the most expensive things a leader can be.   The C.L.E.A.R. Evolution Principle is what I developed from this lesson: • Carry the gold, not the crumbs: take the lessons, leave the old patterns • Let feedback be your mirror: seek it, create conditions where people feel safe to give it • Evolve with intention: name what you are releasing, do not just drift into change • Align your signal with your season: what you communicate must match who you have become • Release with purpose: let go of what belonged to the old season, without apology   The old patterns, the old habits, the things you are holding onto because you are afraid to fully let go... they are costing you the clarity your new season deserves.

Madam, as an experienced leader, what do you believe a leader should do when some of their followers begin to betray their trust or work against them? Should the leader confront them, forgive them, or simply remain focused on the mission?🥺🥺🥺
