Unpopular opinion, but I’d still choose being both street and book smart. The street smart can’t get you into exams and intense academic presentations, and being just book smart can’t take you anywhere far since you can’t navigate real world situations. So I’d still want to be both.

It has a lot of things to consider. Like for example, environment. He can easily solve complex things because he's in family of doctors or lawyers. Grew up understanding complex things more that's why sometimes they're out of touch. It's also due to upbringing, experiences in life. That's why being smart is so broad that there's branches of it. Like what kind of intellect do you have, maybe you can read people more than you can understand textbooks. There's lot of categories of intelligence

Book-smarts is more about how well you follow instructions from establishment standards. Street-smarts is more about learning from your own preferences, taking care of yourself, how to deal with random people you meet outside of schools, & jobs. Then there is creativity or customizing solutions for different situations, which is usually suppressed by schools.

I think im book smart, in case it includes doing experiments and practice different things that i’ve read in books/ videos that could help me to get into university and getting a job, I don’t consider myself streat smart ( im not really educated abt this but im speaking based of what i heard ) is bc I don’t rlly care abt people thoughts or feelings abt me I’d rather laugh with them a little then act stupid when they start asking questions abt sensitive thing or my grades, whenever I sense that they care abt my grades i start to complement them and act stupid like their stereotypes of “nerds”, but sometimes I completely shut up and stare blankly in their faces without realising so I don’t have the best control of my face nor my mouth and and ppl tend to misunderstand my words since they’re pretty short so I prefer cyber conversations since i can speak as much as I please without anyone interrupting me and it’s more comfortable to me, so I don’t rlly know
