Tanzania climbed to number 2 in one year… last year…. And they don’t even mess around with their maize. Ethiopians are worse. They don’t even look at us when we request to buy maize from them…. And that’s before their dam went online 🤦🏾♂️yaaani tumelala hapa ile mbaya.

Weather and climatic conditions of course play a huge role in success of Tanzania maize production…Kenya is mainly arid, semi arid while TZ has wider land area with rich soils and good rains

😂😂😂 listening to Anthony Mwangi one would.think our agriculture is nothing compared to others. but we do have our comparative advantage that we do beautifully. Tea Avocado flowers macadamia Milk potatoes etc. Maize is not the only metric of agricultural success

infact they are selling to World Food Program,,, and I agree with you that our Kenyan Gvt has let our farmers down,,, a lot of our money and time is going to Tanzania and not only maize there's also beans and othe cereals
