They are mentioned in the Holy Quran in Surah Al-Kahf and Surah Al-Anbiya. 📖 The Story of Yajuj and Majuj In Surah Al-Kahf, Allah tells us about Dhul-Qarnayn, a righteous ruler who traveled to different lands. During his journey, he encountered people who complained about the corruption caused by Yajuj and Majuj. They asked him to build a barrier to protect them from these people. Dhul-Qarnayn built a strong barrier using iron and molten copper, by the permission of Allah. He declared that the barrier was a mercy from his Lord, but when Allah’s promise comes, it will be brought down. Allah says in the Quran: “Until when Gog and Magog are let loose, and they rush down from every elevation.” 📖 Surah Al-Anbiya, 21:96 According to Islamic teachings, Yajuj and Majuj will emerge at a time decreed by Allah and spread great corruption across the earth. Their emergence is connected to the major signs of the Day of Judgment. Their story reminds humanity that no power, barrier, or kingdom can stand against Allah’s decree. The Quran teaches us that the knowledge of the unseen belongs to Allah alone. Therefore, we should focus on authentic Islamic teachings rather than unverified claims, frightening speculation, or invented details about their appearance and location. 🤲 May Allah protect us from the trials of this world and the trials of the end times, strengthen our faith, and grant us a good ending.
