My name is Joaness, and I honestly never imagined I would have to make a public appeal just to receive my salary. Keith Tanner recruited workers, including Nigerians and a few Jamaican women, for this job. He paid for only one week, and even that payment was incomplete. The money was paid to my hiring manager, who is from Belize, but she still has not paid me. Since then, Keith Tanner has continued to ignore our messages. Even Gee, his partner, has been contacted, but we are still left without the money we worked for. I showed up. I did the work. I gave my time. All I am asking for is to be paid what I rightfully earned. It is heartbreaking to work honestly and then have to chase people for money you have already worked for, especially when you depend on that income to survive.
