@chaplinfamilylifeinspain: How Craig Got His Spain Visa Approved In 6 Weeks 🇪🇸 Back in January this year, Craig booked a call with me because he wanted to retire early to Spain. At that point, he felt completely overwhelmed. The more he researched, the more complicated it all seemed. Documents. Forms. Translations. Apostilles. Appointments. Financial requirements. And so much conflicting information online. He couldn’t see a clear path from where he was then to actually getting his visa approved. Fast forward to the beginning of June and his visa is now approved. The whole process took just over four months. The consulate actually approved his visa in six weeks. The rest of that time was spent preparing everything properly before it ever reached the consulate. We put a plan together. Over the following months we worked through everything step by step. Not just gathering documents, but making sure the application told a clear story. Making sure the consulate understood his situation. Making sure the evidence was presented properly. Making sure there were no unanswered questions. There were delays. There were obstacles. There were last-minute issues. In fact, Craig rang me from his BLS appointment when something came up on the day. We dealt with it together and the application went in. Six weeks later a decision had been made. But here’s the thing. When your passport comes back, you don’t know whether it’s an approval or a refusal. Craig went to collect it from the post office and rang me straight away. That conversation will stay with me for a very long time. Because after months of preparation and months of waiting, this was the moment. It’s not just about getting a visa approved. For most people, it’s one of the biggest decisions they’ll ever make. It’s leaving behind the familiar. It’s starting a new chapter. It’s years of planning finally becoming real. And when Craig opened that passport and saw the visa had been approved, he couldn’t quite believe it. That’s why I care so much about getting these applications right. Because I know exactly what that moment means. If you’re planning to retire to Spain on a UK passport in the next 12 months and you’re feeling overwhelmed like Craig was back in January, comment NLV and I’ll send you the details. #retiretospain #nonlucrativevisa #movingtospain #livinginspain #spainvisa
