@tim searching through the chapters of my life, desperately looking for 'years'—for those milestones of growth, joy, and peace that everyone else seems to possess. But the more I dig into my memory, the more I realize that I haven't found a single true year. Instead, what I found was a collection of hollow, blackened days, each one scorched by the fires of hardship and pain. It feels as though my life didn't pass in seasons, but in a series of dark, suffocating moments that burned everything they touched. Every time I reached for a memory of happiness, I only drew back hands covered in the soot of 'burned' days. There are no anniversaries of light here, only the echoes of nights that never seemed to end and days that were shrouded in a thick, inescapable darkness. I look at the calendar of my soul and see nothing but ash where time should have been. It is a haunting realization to know that you have aged without truly living, that your 'age' is just a number while your reality is a graveyard of charred dreams. I didn't find the gold of youth or the silver of wisdom; I only found the charcoal of survival. My past isn't a story; it’s a wreckage, a long stretch of blackened time where every hour was a battle and every day was a fire that consumed the best parts of me."
