That's why I totally understand why he quit being a galaxy ranger. He sealed an emanator of destruction (zulo), shuhu, an emanator of abundance, had clashes against Dr. primitive (a really crazy genius, the way he speaks says it all). And also getting almost involved with the xianzhou through yingxing. Being a galaxy ranger isn't for the weak definitely as you're trading everything for freedom while still being bound to Lan. And the thing he has sealed in his arms is definitely something he himself fears. And him feeling so guilty of his own past makes me sad, I guess all pathstriders of the hunt have a horrible association with war, grief and loss. All of them who participated in the war against the abundance have some form of PTSD. All of them have blood stained in their hands and it must've been hard to get used to. Justice and revenge for the fallen is what keeps them going 💔
