No Gary. Not only did he not sign another RB, but he made you captain of one of the best assembled team in world football. There’s levels to the game, and you’re definitely at the top.

The whole thing about Gary Neville, is that he never had a "peak". He performed the same for 15 years. He wasn't an M5 or an AMG, but he was a 1.9TDI that got you there no matter what for a million miles.

I’m a Liverpool fan who has sang rancid things about Gary Neville but he’s talking nonsense here. Ferguson never signed another right back because he was a rolls Royce. Did his defensive bits really obviously but he really understates how good he was on the ball. He could pass into midfield, he could link up with his right winger and his crosses were sensational. Always looked class on the ball.
