@thecolumbusreport6: ⚽ The World Cup Is Here — and Columbus Is Throwing a Month-Long Party 📧 Comment "REPORT" for more insights on what's driving growth across Central Ohio. Starting June 11, the biggest World Cup ever — 48 teams — kicks off, and Columbus is going all in. Whatever flag you wave, there's a place to watch every single match somewhere in this city. Here's what you need to know. The Columbus Crew is anchoring it with at least four big Team USA watch parties, each starting hours before kickoff. June 12 it's USA vs. Paraguay at Bridge Park in Dublin. June 19, USA vs. Australia takes over Columbus Commons downtown. June 25, the USA vs. Turkey party lands at Land-Grant Brewing in Franklinton. And on July 19, the Crew is hosting a World Cup final watch party right at its own stadium plaza in the Arena District. And that's just the start. The Crew's "Summer of Soccer" has 18 different bars and restaurants across the area hosting watch parties for other nations all the way through the semifinals. If you want options, Land-Grant has 17 screens with the USA games on a massive outdoor screen in the beer garden, Parlay downtown has more than 100 TVs showing every match, and Easton and Fado are throwing an outdoor street party for the USA vs. Turkey game with live music. Spots like Cilantro Latin Fusion, DraftKings Sports & Social, and breweries from Pickerington to Whitehall are all in too. Why this is more than just soccer. This is the kind of thing that makes a city feel like a city. Columbus is a genuine soccer town — it's a Crew city with a brand-new stadium — and watching the whole region rally around a global event like this is exactly the energy that keeps drawing people here to live, work, and put down roots. So the only real question left: which team are you cheering for? Full schedule: columbuscrew.com/summer-of-soccer Source: Columbus Dispatch Gagan Columbus, Ohio REALTOR.
