Think installing a robot mower is difficult? Think again. 👀🤖 Today’s installation is the Segway Navimow i220E – one of the most popular models I’ve been fitting recently. 🌱 As you can see in the video, the installation itself isn’t the hard part… The most important step is creating an accurate map. My method is simple: ➡️ I drive forward only. ➡️ I stay about 5 cm away from the lawn edge. Why? That small gap gives the mower a safety margin in case of minor RTK signal variations and helps create a cleaner, more reliable map. Of course, you can reverse while mapping—I just find that keeping a smooth forward line usually gives the best results. You might also notice the charging station is installed on the concrete path around the house. In Ireland, it’s common for houses to have a concrete path running around the building. It’s not always intended as a walkway, which makes it a practical place to install the charging station without getting in anyone’s way. 😉 ⸻ Segway Navimow i220E 🔧 ✔️ covers up to 2000 m² ✔️ 3-wheel drive for extra traction and stability ✔️ EFLS 3.0 navigation (RTK + Vision) ✔️ VisionFence AI obstacle avoidance ✔️ wire-free installation ✔️ app control with multi-zone support ⸻ A good installation starts with a good map. Get that right, and the mower will do the rest. 😎🌱 Thanks for watching! If you enjoy seeing real installations and practical tips, follow along for more. 🤝@segway_navimow_ireland @Gerry Croffey Garden Machinery #s#segwaynavimowr#robotmowerl#lawncares#smartgardenRoboticMowers
