@middleeasteye: US actress Gwyneth Paltrow has come under heavy criticism after starring in an advert for a luxury residential development in the Israeli coastal city of Herzliya. Paltrow was condemned for promoting real estate in a country accused of committing genocide, ethnic cleansing and war crimes in Palestine and Lebanon. Herzliya was established in 1924 on the land of the coastal Palestinian village of Al-Haram.
