I fell asleep on the shinkasen and the attendant came up to me after I woke up, I was so glad that he said to get off at the next stop and get on the next train coming back (the last train for the night) and that if they're checking tickets I might have to buy another ticket. Super nice and understanding but still one of the scariest moments on my trip

Bruh the Shinkansen stops are so far and in between why would you get on and not set a timer for when your stop comes up. Especially how quick the stops are. People really need to have better self awareness.
