Regardless of judgments around who we are and what we are doing and why we do it… This is what reclamation looks like. Walking to the cemetery isn’t just a walk. It’s a practice. A practice of being seen in the world as who we truly are. We don’t heal these deep-seated wounds of the witch and of sisterhood in one retreat or one practice. But we start here. Seeing how we react with other women. How we use our voice or don’t. We awaken to discomfort as something we are willing to explore rather than judge. We see our shadows with a willingness to love and accept ourselves more deeply. We begin this journey by walking with purpose. Intention is in every step. Many of us carry a wound around visibility. Fear of judgment. Fear of ridicule. Fear of hate for simply being who we are. So we walk. We wear our hats not as costume, but as reclamation. The hat carries a long history, one that hasn’t always been kind to us. But we wear it anyway. We wear it as a cone of power. A circle of protection. A thread connecting us to the Goddess. These hats do not allow us to blend in with all the other humans. And we have no desire to hide behind normalcy. We walk to the cemetery to honor our ancestors. To sit in the liminal space where the body returns to earth and the soul returns to Source. Women have a history of fearing death because of the witch trials living in our DNA. This is not natural to us. We are a focus of life and death. The veil is thin here. We witches work between the worlds in liminal spaces. Getting comfortable with the cemetery is getting comfortable with your craft and your power. We wear black because it protects and attracts light. Color holds vibration and frequencies that assist our magickal workings. 🖤 #WitchcraftWithIntention #Reclamation #witchtok #ConeOfPower #AncestorWork
