Yeah; it’s heartbreaking to hear this. I’m guessing that at least half of our churches whether Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Four Squares, etc live from week to week….. Most of what we, at our church accumulate in the black, we give to missionaries in the Ukraine, West Africa, and SE Asia. We actually had several members step up to donate 1/4 million dollars to fix structural problems in our old church building. When Jesus told Peter that he would be the rock to which the church would be formed, He was actually talking about we, the followers, not a building..,.
